Commitment

Kiriwath "Kiri" Suykry is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. This site is designed and tested to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

What's in place

• A "Skip to main content" link and semantic landmarks (main, navigation, footer) on every page.
• One logical heading structure per page, with descriptive page titles.
• Labels programmatically associated with every form control, and form status messages announced to screen readers.
• Visible keyboard-focus indicators throughout, and full keyboard operability — including an A-to-Z city list that provides the same information as the interactive map.
• Text alternatives for all informational diagrams and charts.
• Text and background colors measured against WCAG AA contrast minimums (4.5:1 for normal text).
• Correct ARIA roles and states for tabs, toggles, and live-updating regions.
• Support for reduced-motion preferences; page zoom is never blocked.
• No third-party accessibility overlay — accessibility is built into the pages themselves.

Known limitations

• The interactive map on the Tax Atlas is a visual component; its full functionality is provided in accessible form through the adjacent keyboard-operable city list and detail panel, which expose the same data.
• Accessibility is verified with an automated check suite on every site update plus periodic manual testing; if something slips through, please tell us — see below.
